Job Description
As a Customs Clearance Clerk at Midea Malaysia, you will be responsible for handling import document verification, coordinating with freight and customs agents, and ensuring smooth and compliant customs clearance procedures.
You will play a key role in import process accuracy, timeliness, and cross-functional logistics planning.
This position is ideal for candidates with prior customs clearance experience and bilingual capabilities.
Key Responsibilities

Review import documents (invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, etc.) to ensure consistency and proper HS code classification according to Thai customs regulations.

Coordinate with freight forwarders and customs brokers to manage customs clearance processes and respond to inspection-related issues.

Monitor the timeliness of customs clearance activities and resolve exceptions efficiently.

Stay up to date with customs policy changes and assess compliance risks.

Collaborate with the logistics department to arrange bonded warehouse transfers and support smooth import operations.
Requirements

Proficiency in both Chinese and Thai is preferred.

Strong communication, coordination, and negotiation skills.

Able to work under pressure and manage time-sensitive tasks independently.

High level of integrity and professionalism.

Prior experience in customs clearance is required; knowledge of import business processes is an added advantage.
