Job Description

As a Purchaser at Midea Malaysia, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring raw materials, components, and other necessary items to meet production and operational needs.
This role involves supplier communication, cost optimization, and order management.
Ideal for candidates with strong negotiation skills, language abilities, and a keen understanding of procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle the procurement of raw materials, components, equipment, and supplies according to demand plans and budget allocations.

• Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms.

• Issue and follow up on purchase orders; resolve issues related to delivery delays or quality concerns.

• Maintain effective communication with suppliers and conduct regular performance reviews to drive continuous improvement.

• Keep records of procurement contracts and ensure activities comply with company policies and traceability standards.

Requirements

• Proficiency in both Chinese and Thai is preferred.

• Strong negotiation, communication, and coordination skills.

• High personal integrity, self-discipline, and a proactive working attitude.

• Able to work under pressure and complete tasks efficiently and independently.

• Experience in procurement and familiarity with import business processes is an added advantage.
